11/25/04 Happy Thanksgiving!!!! I have been working very hard on my new adventure. Putting in 14-hour days. So far it is going well but I hope it gets better as time goes on. They say it takes two years for new businesses to become successful but I hope it won't take that long. It has been and will continue to be a lot of work but I am enjoying it. After being in the Adult industry for 10 years I am looking forward to this new challenge. I'll say this, who ever said it was easy for women to get business loans was full of it... I just hope the next four years with Bush go by fast and painlessly as possible. Because my new business is taking all my time I am sorry to say I won't be at any of the January events. In fact the only thing "Adult" I am making time for these days are the FOOTNIGHT parties. I will be at the one in Las Vegas December 9th. I really have a new appreciation for getting my feet pampered. I am going to shut down Area 69 on my website as of December 31. Starting December 1 you will no longer be able to purchase a membership to my site. This will give time for existing memberships to expire without re-billing. I will keep the free area up and try to do some postings when I can. I have been trying to keep in touch with some of you via e-mail. If you haven't heard back from me in the last week then I might not have gotten your e-mail… I was having trouble with too much mail and lost a lot of e-mails. I cleaned it up (I had a ton of spam) this week so things should get a little better. Now for some good news… There is a new DVD out that I am in. The last two FAN SEX scenes I did are in FAN SEX PINK. 05/25/05 The time has come for a new chapter, With all that has been going on in the industry I have decided to take an official HIATUS. Now that I have Shayla LaVeaux and Jon Yuma settled in working on the NEW FAN FUXXX (or FAN SEX for cable), I feel it is time for me to start working full time on another adventure. I don't want to say anymore then that, so not to jinx myself. I guess you could say I'm nervous and superstitious about trying something new. Wish me luck! I have enjoyed my 10 years in the Adult Entertainment Industry, but as they say, "You can't be in front of the camera forever". I really didn't have as much fun producing as I did when I was acting (having SEX). Not to mention the Republicans (Don't forget to Vote in November) have run amuck trying to eradicate Adult Entertainment, it is even more difficult now to survive by just producing. Between the legal problems, distribution hassles and the capitol it takes to make movies… I will let the big companies worry about it. These are but a few of the reasons for my decision. I will still be here for you all, but I will only be able to answer e-mails about once a week. Remember to put "Fan Mail" in the subject line, other wise I will delete it, thinking it's spam. I will also still keep updating my NEWS and AREA 69 (with hardcore photos) when I can. I just won't be making movies or attending events you normally see me at. The time has come for you to have a better understanding and help out the Adult Entertainment Industry. Although we take precautions to prevent the spread of STD's and HIV (PCR-DNA testing every 30 days) there are two performers that have been confirmed HIV positive. This is a very scary because it is just the first week of the notice and more could be detected. Thankfully, I have not worked with any of the talent that is on the quarantine list. Tod Hunter has a comprehensive list if you are interested. With that said, one way you can help is by buying movies that have and or require talent to use CONDOMS! Please understand that it is for our safety and peace of mind. Not to mention just good common sense. Our testing system works but nothing is 100%. That is why I back in 1997 I chose to be condom mandatory and testing. I believe a lot of companies wouldn't hire me because of this, and it cost me a lot of work. I feel I made the best choice for myself and sleep better at night after doing a scene. I also feel it made my scenes better and hotter knowing I was safer. I can honestly say I have not gotten any STD's in the 9 years (or ever) I have been in the industry. I think it has a lot to do with the use of condoms. Another way for you to help out is to visit your local Strip clubs that have Adult Film stars as Features! If they don't have Features, then ask them to start. I have a feeling with the 60 day quarantine (most companies have stopped all production) going on they will start dancing more. So help out and pay them a visit and feel free to tip them, buy a Polaroid or what ever you can to help out. Lets try to turn an unfortunate situation into something better. Let's all take a moment to wish the best for those who are most affected. Remember, Safe sex it the only sex!!! 04/08/04 I had such a great time last week!!! The FOOTNIGHT PARTY was a blast and my feet were in heaven all night! Rock and Roll All Night!!! 03/01/04 A Clean Sweep!!! I was so happy for Peter Jackson and EVERYONE involved in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy last night!!! As a SAG actress myself, I was glued to the T.V. last night with my fingers crossed. He/They got the recognition they deserved, although I think the acting was also outstanding! Once again Billy Crystal did an amazing job as "Master of Ceremonies". I went to see Mel Gibson's movie THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST this weekend. Not to jump on the "Christian Band Wagon"… (personally, I don't believe in organized religion)but I went to see for myself what all the "negative" buzz, that started last year, was about. Keep in mind I am a very strong believer in our First Amendment! He has the same free speech rights that I, as a member of the Adult Business, continually fight for. With that said, I am the first to admit I (personally) am not a fan of violent movies… and this is a very violent movie… I spent a lot of time watching from behind my fingers and cringed at every blow by bloody blow. I toughed it out and am glad I did. The cinematography was amazing. I feel, as a MOVIE… Mel Gibson did and incredible job getting his vision/message across. Meaning… If you believe what the Bible says…this is what it might have been like for Jesus during his last 12 hours on earth, period. My only concern is that Christian parents are bringing young (under the age of 16) children to this movie! Unless you can keep up with reading the sub-titles, you won't fully understand this movie and only see all the violence that is depicted. To subject children to this kind of violence, in my opinion, is wrong and… borders on child abuse. It is rated "R" for a very good reason. This is not "Finding Nemo", leave the kids at home! I only recommend this movie if you can go in with an open mind and come out with the reality that it a movie about a story (whether it is fiction or non-fiction is your choice) that was told a long, long time ago. I just got all my travel confirmations to attend the SXSW Film Festival in Austin Texas. I am going there March 20th to promote the showing of "The Naked Feminist", a wonderful documentary, if I do say so myself. (I am in it a couple times). I am very excited that the producer asked me to make the trip and help promote her film. I am also going to try and do a adult book store appearance while I am there, so stay tuned here for up-dates. I have been getting a lot of positive e-mails about FAN SEXXX. Just so you all know... I am just an Actress in this series. Although I get to have the final choice who I do, I don't know when or where the shooting will be. So the best advice I have for all you hopeful fans out there is, get your applications in the mail and I will do my best to get them to the producer. Till next week, Wet Kisses!!! 02/19/04 The worst thing you can do is… You have to be really foolish to try and pull one over on me… As "JAY" found out last week… He LIED to me and I found out… He said he was single and low and be hold I discovered he had a very upset girlfriend… Needless to say the (split) second I figured it out he was canceled and I found a VERY single replacement. Who, by the way, did an outstanding job of getting Alexis Fire and myself off many times!!! He even decided to use the stage name Jay as his way of thanking (poking fun at) the other guy for messing up. I won't go into the details here but as it says on my website… It is not the intent for FAN SEXXX to cause problems in relationships… If you have a "partner" they have to be fully accepting and aware of your (or both) participation in doing the scene… I have had a number of couples in FAN FUXXX and it has always worked out fine… Even if only one of them was in the movie. In situations with couples I always talk to both of them to find out if there are any boundaries and that they are okay with the sex being filmed for an ADULT MOVIE. We are keeping that integrity with FAN SEXXX. With that said… Couples; please talk it over and then if you are both okay with it, send in your applications together. Well, I survived a very busy week with a house full of relatives!!! Things are back to normal (what ever that means) now. I want to Thank Everyone for the Early Birthday Wishes and e-cards. A Change of Seasons!!! It is getting colder here in Las Vegas and is very much welcomed after a long hot summer. Today is Veterans Day, so let’s take time to remember and thank all those who have served our country. The Bikers for Boobs was a great success and I had a great time at the “End of the Road”. They raised about $2,000 in spite of the chilly weather. I plan on being at the “Ultimate Foot Party” this Thursday night (November 13) and then my friends are having another BLT (Black Tie, Lingerie or Toga) party on Saturday. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! I hope you all have a safe Hallows Eve tonight!!! I myself will be celebrating tomorrow (Nov. 1) by going to Knot’s Scary Farm!!! Quick news flash… I will be a Celebrity Guest at BIKERS FOR BOOBS Poker Run here in Las Vegas on November 9th. All the proceeds go to the Las Vegas Breast Cancer Research Foundation. I will be signing autographs and have donated some movies as Door Prizes. It should be a fun day for all and for a great cause. I am happy to say I have talked to most of my friends who were in danger from the Fires in California and they have escaped the worst… My heart goes out to all those who lost their homes and family members… Let’s all hope the Insurance companies come through for them and the worst is over!!! 10/27/03 ROCK AND ROLL ALL NIGHT!!! KISS/AEROSMITH What an amazing concert!!! I had great seats (Thanks Mike) and a fantastic time. I wore a short little dress and a pair of brand new KISS panties… They had the cover of the “Love Gun” album on them and I kept flashing the camera guy up front and getting on the big screens on the stage. During the break I was complimented and “Recognized” as the Panty Girl… I had the best time and highly recommend going to this concert if you can. The ticket price for two legends of rock and roll in one night is well worth it. I just did a photo shoot for a book I will be in titled SKIN CITY. In fact I have been told I have my own chapter… It was a lot of fun being topless out in the desert with the American flag wrapped around me. This book should be out in March of 2004 and I will keep you posted. It is already getting a lot of good publicity. Talk about a small world… I was out to dinner with a friend and our server was also from Minnesota, in fact knew my ex-boyfriends daughter. Wet Kisses 10/13/03 Hey All, Sorry I have been away from my computer for a while but I have been doing some very interesting and fun things. Keep in mind just because I am off line… AREA 69 still gets up dates at least once a week!!! A few of the highlights are, I went to Halloween Haunt at Knot’s Berry Farm. They have a couple new mazes this year and I had a great time. I also shot for an HBO Special on the Bunny Ranch. I got to instruct the ladies on how to use some very interesting sex equipment. Like a “Do Me Chair” and a “G-Ring” etc. They had a great time getting each other “off” on them. And so can you when you go up there!!! I will have more details in my next Newsletter so be sure to sign up for it to hear the juicy details!!! My next big adventure is the KISS Concert on October 24!!! 9/19/03 Wild Times in Florida… I have always enjoyed going to the Tampa NIGHTMOVES Event and this year was no exception. It is kind of like a working vacation and we get to see a lot of fans in one weekend. My trip started with an 8hour delay in Dallas (Big Thunderstorms) so I missed the first party. Once I got there things went well the rest of the weekend. In fact one of the many clubs we went to is Club Whispers in New Port Richey, FL. And we all had a blast!!! The ladies that work there were a lot of fun and very pretty. If you are ever down that way be sure to check it out… FULL NUDE WITH ALCOHAOL!!! Every night when I got back to the hotel I would go down to the bar and have a nightcap to unwind… I don’t drink while I work… The hotel was cool enough to keep the bar open late for us (THANK YOU). Playboy had the Sexetra crew there following us around a few nights and I have to say they were way cool to hang out with as well. I did miss Serenity not being there but I know that because business is doing so well with Las Vegas Novelties she had to stay home to keep things going there. I will keep this short and I plan on sending out a more detailed E-Newsletter on all this so, if you want to hear more be sure to sign up!!! As we approach the two-year anniversary of September 11th, a very tragic time in American history, my thoughts turn to the survivors and to the friends and families who lost loved ones on that horrific day. My heart goes out to them for their loss and I have the deepest sympathy for them. The men and women (Firefighters, Rescue, Police) who were at ground zero and those who went back into the blazing two towers to try and save lives, are all Heroes to me. I will remember this day with sadness in my heart for the rest of my life. But I also remember the pride I felt as all of the American people came together to help mend the wounds of that day and move the country forward once again. Lets all take a moment on September 11 to remember, reflect and show respect for one another as fellow Americans. |
